We have updated our “up and coming” sources to include a broader range of social media.  We used to rely heavily on Google Trends RSS feed for helping us determine what was popular and growing.  Now we’ve added several sources to help us be more attuned to a wider range of social behaviors:

  • Yahoo Buzz
  • Technorati Popular

Nadya Suleman - continues as one of our most popular surches

Since the octuplet birth in California we’ve been hit with a variety of surches on surchur.com that related to the unprecedented event, however, none of them have been more prominent than “nadya suleman.”  After the name of the mother was discovered, surchur.com started to get a consistent stream of people interested in viewing all of the goings on in the mother’s life.

A variety of speculation, fact finding and general interest is revealed on the page.  Check it out for yourself.
