Dreary day, dreary week.  Funerals make most of us sad and that is all there was on TV today.  So I will start with that and build into some really interesting and important stuff.

Funerals — Might as well get by this.  Michael Jackson, Steve Mcnair, and the ‘architect’ of the Vietnam war: Robert Mcnamara all gone.  Maybe now we can get a real fresh start — no nukes, no insanity, real-life real-time and dance to the music of life.

How have we lost track of the really important stuff on the web right now:  Mousavi (and some high-ranking clerics) finally appear and say the elections in Iran were rigged (like we didn’t know?), North Korea spends more on launching ‘toy’ rockets than they do on feeding their population, VP Biden is prepping us for a 2nd stimulus package since the first one failed to create jobs, and finally President Obama finds Russia a ‘tuff’ audience — Medvedev is thoughtful but Putin has his head in a cloud . . . no warm welcome here, but what did we expect?

Pretty somber stuff today . . . but you can’t just have fun all the time . . . some time you gotta take responsibility and figure out what the heck is going on around us.  Today is one of those days.  Sorry if it hurts.  I’ll be responsible even if all the networks won’t!  Hope next week is a bit more upbeat (do we really miss Jon and Kaite + 8?  no link ‘cuz there is nothing new).
