Whew!! Another day, another Senator switches parties.

Hot on the Web — scott @ April 28, 2009

I couldn’t stop surchin today.  The party switching thing really had me going.  Love the madness in Washington.  Thank heavens there were other cool things going on ‘right now’ on the web.

Arlen Specter — What a spectacle!  Will there be any Republicans left next year.  Not at this rate.

Swine Flu — Just remember to wash your hands (a ton of times every day) and you will only have to read about this.  Fail your hygene and you might be living it.

New York City flyover — Somebody needed a photo-op with the Presidential plane.  Was this all to impress a date?  I woulda thunk we could communicate better and not have to evacuate all kinds of buildings.  Fire the dope that caused this!

Chuck — Gotta admit, I’m a fan (my wife too).  Can’t wait for next year.  The guy with the great brain knows Kungfu too?  Awesome!  Chuck is Batman, Spiderman and Steve Wozniak . . . all in one!

That will have to do it for now.  Just heard that Obama might become an independent and I gotta surch until the truth is out.

Live, breath, surch!

Take me home, country roads.

The dirt roads here in Utah, i.e. four-wheeling type, are the best around.  You can have all the fun you need and it is only a few minutes from the valley.  Problem is, up high there is no WIFI signal of any kind.  Had to come home to get my fix of whasup ‘right now.’  towit:

Susan Boyle — Yeah, I know, over 100 million hits in the last week.  I am NOT the last one to hear about her, but I am surely the first to say enuff.  One week does not make a star.  What is she going to do for her encore this week?  Check it our here first.

David Kellerman — I can’t help but wonder if there is foul play here.  Not murder, but maybe some kind of financial shenanigans that were being hidden.  One of the sad stories of this recession.  He was trying to turn Freddie Mac around.

American Idol – Dang!  I missed it last night (had to go golfing…I mean just had to, too).  No problem surchur brought it all home this morning.  Two going home tonite.  Bye, bye!

Iran’s Nutty President — Ahmahdinejad is truly on of this centuries’ nut cases.  He doesn’t believe there was a holocaust, so why does he believe there is an Israeli state?  Ignore all truth and there are no worries.

Heading back up to the mountians, can’t believe it is 80 degrees today, so surch’in will have to be put on hold for a few hours.  Hasta la vista, baby!

Phewww! Tax day is over and now we can start earning money for ourselves.

Uncategorized — scott @ April 16, 2009

What a day.  I got my taxes in early, but one family member worked all day to file just before midnight.  Love the tea-parties throughout the nation.  Do we really get representation for our taxation?  One thing you can be sure, surchur.com   is the best place to find out what other people are surch’in on the web.  Our parties are open to all!  Like the top hot topics from today:

Tea Parties - All over the country, people are letting the government know that we want something for our tax $$$.  Yeah, send tea-bags to your senators or congressmen (just make sure you use them first so the stingy critters don’t get to!).

American Idol – Always hot the day after the performances.  Why can’t Simon Cowell exhibit any humanity?  Oh, and by the way, I am sick and tired of the sophmoric tricks the host plays on the contestants.  Jeez Lousie, just tell ‘em where they stand and quit with the “I’m  sorry, but you ……. are going to have to endure the next week!”

John Madden – The World’s favorite NFL announcer retires at age 73 (heck, I thought he was twice that).  Remember, he’s the guy that won’t fly and gets chauffered around in a bus to games all over the country.   I guess he is retiring so he can travel the country in a motor-home!

Rosetta Stone – Not only is this cool software for learning languages, but the company did an IPO today (initial public offering) and the stock went up 40% on the first day.  The sun’ll come out tomorrow baby!!

NBA playoffs – The playoffs are here, big deal…Utah is going out in the first round.  Sorry to say it but my NBA team needs a new coach (one younger than John Madden anyway).  Still Basketball IS the greatest test of athletic ability in all sports (Golf is a close second).  But, what the hey, I’m prejudiced I love both games!!

Somalia Pirates – Check this out, Ron Paul (former Presidential candidate and strict constitutionalist) has a good idea to solve the problem.  The U.S. can’t let this go on and we HAVE to do SOMETHING.  I have a solution too.  Go to my blog/website to find out how it would benefit everyone (except the pirates).

surch’in on!

Uncategorized — scott @ April 7, 2009

I’ve been under the weather.  Literally, I mean the snow seemed like it would never stop.  At Alta, my fav nearby ski-resort, they got 120 inches of snow in 10 days!!  I’m ready to get out.  Check the new vehicle announced today…save on gas and have a gas!

P.U.M.A. – You have simply got to check out this new tw0-seater, two-wheel, ‘car’ announced by Segway and G.M. today.  If it weren’t for the recession I’d buy one…assuming the price is right.

Italy Earthquake – The city that was damaged has streets so narrow that barely two people can walk them.  Makes our modern 4-laners seem pretty smart now!

Obama in Iraq – The Prez stops in Baghdad on his way home.  Sand storms preventing him from leaving the airport.  Still visits troops.

Zero Motorcycles – 100 mpg not good enough for you?  Try an electric motorcycle.  Drive it to  work, plug it in to the bank-next-door’s outlet and travel for free!

NCAA basketball – North Carolina wins it all in a walk-away.  It would have been a great story for Michigan State, but  70,000 cheering fans weren’t enough to cause the Tarheels to falter.  Only 346 days left ’til the next March Madness (that ends in April??).

I’m off.  Going to find out if you really can plug an electric car or moto into the bank’s outlet.  I may only get one call if this goes wrong.  Anyone ready to post bail??
